Requirements
Importers or Consignees in the US
-Must be a registered business with the state’s official business authority, such as Sunbiz for the state of Florida.
-Should be an IOR (Importer of Record) authorized to import the intended commodity. In case this condition is not accomplished, we can assist in registering your business as an IOR for the US Customs either for a 1-time import or for many more.
-The commodity that is about to be imported must comply with all the US regulations. Depending on the commodity, it has to be registered with the Government entities that regulates it, such as the FDA and many others. Don’t worry, feel free to ask us which entities are related to your importation.
Shippers or Exporters in Colombia
-Must be a registered business with the DIAN (Colombian customs authority).
-Must have a completely operative commercial address.
-Must be authorized to sell and export the related commodity or commodities.
